We’ve been adding to our craft beer range and have listed further great beers from leading craft brewers, including ranges from Hillstown Brewery, Yardsman, Innis Gunn, and McGargles As well as representing a signifcant margin opportunity, craft beer is a growing trend and one that consumers are increasingly curious about You can view a selection of our range on pages 11 and 12 This month we’re celebrating a number of our craft range gaining industry recognition and awards Hillstown Brewery recently picked up two medals at the Beoir All Ireland Craft Beer Competition Based in Randalstown, this Northern Irish Micro Brewery produces handcrafted, unique beer direct from the farm The Beoir All Ireland Craft Beer Competition involves a blind tasting carried out by a panel of renowned international judges Hillstown Spitting Llama won Gold in the Belgian category and The Goat’s Butt was awarded a silver medal in the Wheat Beer category Armagh-based MacIvors cider collected a gold medal and the acclaimed Champion Cider award at the International drinks awards Established in 1888, The International Brewing and Cider Awards are internationally regarded as amongst the most important and inuential industry events, and are often referred to as the industry’s ‘Oscars’ The family-owned and run company is the frst Irish cider producer to win a gold medal in this prestigious event for its Traditional Dry Cider The range includes two bottled ciders – MacIvors Medium (45%) and MacIvors Traditional Dry (56%), and is also now available on draught Please see page 18 for more details In future issues we will introduce you to members of the Drinks Inc team within this brochure Some may already be familiar faces but our aim is to build on existing relationships and provide an even better service!
